Hard Rock Backing Track in F# Minor
Hard rock being a favorite template of most shredders, this track is begging to be ripped over. Harmonically very simple, it stays in F# minor and occasionally hits a B or C# power chord; you’ll quickly feel that this backing track needs melody and intensity. When playing lead, try to approach your solo with a large ramp up to the peak and continue into the second section breakdown…that should give you some nice melodic flow and phrasing. Just as important as feel and phrasing, is tone. Find your best distorted lead sound and try adding a delay to open it all up.
